Sharon joined the Clear Surgical team in 2020 as Office Manager bringing with her a commercial background in retail but most recently in town centre management.
A large part of her career was with British Home Stores where she held a number of operational and sales roles allowing her to see many aspects of the business before moving into the position of Regional Support Manager. In this role, Sharon was the support mechanism between stores, head office and field staff helping them to communicate robustly whilst working effectively and efficiently as one team.
Following the closure of British Home Stores in 2016, she decided to turn a long time hobby and passion into a business, and retrained as a florist and ran a small business from home, something she continues with on a small scale even today.
In 2018, she then moved to Falkirk Delivers which is a business improvement initiative delivering town centre management and support to the local business community. Here, she worked in partnership with the local council, emergency services and third sector agencies along with local businesses to help make Falkirk a safe, clean and inviting place for both locals and visitors to enjoy through project management and securing additional funding for the town.
